About Me

I'm a Cyber Security student graduating Fall 2026 and aspiring DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer with a passion for technology. I enjoy working with people and building things that make an impact. I always attack my work head on by choosing large targets and breaking them down into manageable pieces.

Outside of tech I love rock and metal music. With a little bit of smooth jazz and breakcore mixed in. I enjoy cooking, hiking, working out and eating healthy.

Assisted in the implementation of digital signage integrations, incorporating Revolution API along with Rise Vision and Google Apps Script to streamline operations

Created an automated workflow with Google Apps Script on campus Excel Data to keep events accurate to local times and reducing manual efforts

Automated and tested scripts for IT tasks essential for events held across campus resulting in increased operational efficiency

Deployed and automated Raspberry PIs using GitHub Actions for continuous and convenient updates of kiosks around campus

Projects I'm Working On

AWS Cloud Resume Challenge

This website was hosted with AWS! I started with a static S3 website and a CloudFront distribution to prevent access to S3 objects for security. My domain provider is GoDaddy. I used AWS certificate manager for HTTPS

Whats next?

I want to add a currently listening on spotify function using the spotify api. This will require me to refresh api keys securely through aws and will be good for security and devops career building

I also want to add database functionality to make the education/certification section of this website less ugly. It will allow me to make a database call to grab links for icons and links to verify the certs.

I will implement CI/CD for the frontend and backend so I do not need to continuously upload to S3 for updates.

Technical Environment

  • Platform:Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Services Used:EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudTrail, Trusted Advisor, IAM, ACM
  • Automation:Terraform
  • Security:IAM, Security Groups, KMS, Policy, ACLs

Key Responsibilities

  • Designed and deployed website using AWS services and infrastructure
  • Configured and maintained CPV architecture with public and private subnets
  • Implemented IAM policies and security groups following least privileged access
  • Developing IAC templates for automated resource provisioning
  • Optimized cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability
Crucible Cyber Range

This project represents my comprehensive journey into mastering Kubernetes through hands-on experience. I'm building a fully functional Crucible cyber range environment in my homelab using Minikube, demonstrating practical knowledge of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and cybersecurity training infrastructure.

The Crucible cyber range will feature isolated virtual environments for cybersecurity training exercises, red team/blue team scenarios, and vulnerability assessment labs. Using Kubernetes orchestration, each training scenario can be rapidly deployed, scaled, and torn down as needed.Key components include networked virtual machines for attack/defense scenarios, containerized security tools, monitoring dashboards for exercise tracking, and automated scoring systems. This demonstrates not only Kubernetes proficiency but also understanding of complex system architecture and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Through this project, I'm showcasing expertise in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure as code, container orchestration at scale, security-first architecture design, homelab infrastructure management, and practical cybersecurity training environments. This hands-on experience translates directly to enterprise Kubernetes deployments and DevSecOps practices.

Homelab

My Homelab is a lot of fun. I started it with an interest in network engineering, however the more I played with DevOps and security tooling, the lab is focused more on practicing those tools.

Technical Environment

  • Compute Resources: Beelink Mini PC, Raspberry Pi 5, Laptop
  • Network Infrastructure:2 Unmanaged Switches, Cisco 2600 Router, Cisco 2950 Switch, 2 Unifi Access Points
  • Primary Platform: Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Free
  • Operating Systems:Proxmox, Ubuntu, Noobs

Key Responsibilities

  • Designed and deployed multi-host homelab infrastructure with centralized log management
  • Configured and maintained splunk for security monitoring and log aggregation
  • Secure lab environment through network segmentation
  • Developed automation scripts for lab via systemd and crontab

Technologies and Tools

  • SIEM/Logging: Splunk
  • Virtualization:Proxmox, Docker, KVM
  • Networking:IPtables, SSH, UFW
  • Automation:Ansible, Python, Bash
